About me…
Drawing in the old-fashioned way with ink & watercolour as a means of explaining stuff is what I love doing. After a distant past of trying to draw "properly", my work has veered toward a somewhat quirky wonkiness whilst still being reasonably accurate and detailed. Which is a lot more fun.
But I had accidentally stopped drawing for a few decades…
…until I had an idea of drawing simple, black and white recipe instructions to give to my son heading off to Uni, so that he would be able to make some of the things he'd always liked to eat at home. To my surprise, a lot of other people wanted these! I printed a little booklet, which then led to wonderful opportunities working with clients involved in environmental campaigns, educational projects, small biz start-ups, and more including:
Zero Waste Europe / East Sussex County Council / BeFries restaurant / University of Sussex / University of Cardiff / Common Cause Co-operative / Ministry of Stories / Dancing Fox BV / Ashurst organic farm

I also play fiddle in a few bands and have worked with environmental groups, including a few years in Japan, made lost-wax cast silver wildlife jewellery, renovated old houses, worked with community groups, translated Japanese, made vegan sushi, and other things which would look terribly random on a CV.
