How it all started....

Quite ironically, they also presented it as a standard recipe with incredients and instructions to match the format of this series.

I made my first collection of home recipe drawings in 2013 to give to my 18-year-old son heading off to Uni with no inclination to read cookbooks, so that he would be able to make some of the things he's always liked to eat at home.    

If you: 
  • enjoy cooking but don't much like reading recipes
  • tend to think visually, in images more than words 
  • are happy to improvise your own quantities
  • need some basic ideas, or know some who does..

is a 24-page A5 booklet, printed in black and white (all ready for colouring in if you like!) on sturdy satin-finish paper and containing recipe guidelines for tabouleh, bean wraps, pancakes, lasagne, mildly spicy lentils, chocolate cake, pizza, potato salad, oatmeal biscuits, tofu stir-fry and more.
